MeetMic 1.40 for iPhone puts a recorder on your wrist, connects your calendar to your recordings, and turns the app into a full player and editor.
New Features
MeetMic for Apple Watch
MeetMic now runs on Apple Watch. Record on the wrist — with pause, resume and playback — and the recording syncs to your iPhone, gets transcribed, and the transcript comes back to the watch. A watch face complication shows a live recording timer, upcoming meetings appear right on the watch so a tap starts recording under the meeting's name, and a settings page shows sync status at a glance.
Your Meetings, On Your Phone
Connect your calendar and MeetMic shows a Coming up section with your next meetings — one tap starts a recording that carries the meeting's name, time and attendees. Optional meeting-start notifications remind you when a call begins, with a Start recording action right in the notification. Meeting details travel with the recording everywhere: to the watch, and to your Mac when you send a transcript over.
Richer Recording
While recording you can now name the recording, assign tags and attach photos — everything is in place the moment you stop. You can also continue an earlier recording instead of starting a new one. A new Settings → Storage screen shows exactly where your space goes, per transcript, and warns you before the device runs out.
iPad support
MeetMic now adapts its layout to iPad with a proper split view.
Fixes
- Recordings that disappeared from the library after the 1.31 update are back — nothing was deleted, and this update restores them automatically.
- Force-quitting the app during a recording no longer leaves a stuck Live Activity on the lock screen, and the audio recorded up to that point is kept.
